Key Highlights of the Calendar
The International Ski Federation (FIS) has announced the provisional World Cup schedule for the 2025-2026 season, with the final set to take place at Hafjell and Kvitfjell in Norway from March 21 to March 25, 2026. This event marks the first time since 2003 that Norway has hosted the World Cup Final.
Competition Schedule
The finals will feature races in both speed and technical disciplines. The downhill and super-G events will be held in Kvitfjell on March 21 and 22, while Hafjell will host the giant slalom and slalom competitions on March 24 and 25. Organizing committee head Ole Kristian Kirkerud expressed pride in securing this prestigious event, emphasizing the commitment to delivering an exceptional competition.
Additional Events on the Calendar
As part of the upcoming season, notable events are scheduled across various locations, including two weekends of races in Val d'Isère, France, for both men's and women's disciplines in December. The season will also saw Copper Mountain in Colorado hosting races at the end of November, bringing diverse conditions for competitors throughout the season.
