Khaddi Sagnia, a 31-year-old Swedish long jumper, showcased her improving form at a local event in Košice, Slovakia. Competing at the JBL Jump Fest, Sagnia recorded her best jump in almost three years, measuring 6.69 meters. During the event, Sagnia maintained consistent performance, starting with a jump of 6.66 meters. However, it was her fifth attempt that highlighted her skill, where she improved her earlier mark by three centimeters. Coaching and Technique Changes
Sagnia's recent successes can be attributed to a transition in coaching and training methods. After moving from Gothenburg to Karlstad, she commenced training under the guidance of Anders Möller. A pivotal change in technique now allows her to jump off her left foot, which has positively impacted her performance, aiding her comeback from previous struggles with injuries.
