Odilon Kossounou, an Ivorian defender, has officially made the shift from a loan arrangement to a full-time contract with Atalanta. This transition follows a successful spell at the club during the past season, and Atalanta has now confirmed the deal on their official channels.
Negotiated Costs
The deal saw Atalanta negotiate the purchase price down from an initial €27 million to about €24 million, which is roughly $26 million. The loan period preceding this permanent contract was reported to have cost Atalanta around $5.5 million.
