Historic Debut for Dowman
Max Dowman, a 15-year-old talent from Arsenal, has officially become the youngest player to play in a Champions League match. He stepped onto the field as a substitute during Arsenal's game against Slavia Prague, breaking the previous record held by Youssoufa Moukoko.
Previous Records
Before Dowman's achievement, Youssoufa Moukoko was the youngest player to appear in the Champions League at 16 years and 18 days. Dowman surpassed this by debuting at 15 years and 308 days. Additionally, Lamine Yamal holds the record for the youngest player to start a Champions League match.

While Dowman is the youngest player to play in the Champions League, Hannah Healy is the only player younger than him to have played in a Champions League match, but that was during the women's qualifying rounds. Healy played at 15 years and 263 days for Shelbourne.
