2025/26 Ski Season Opens in Finland
Exciting Competition Days Ahead
The Olos/Muonio Ski Race Weekend is set to take place in Muonio, Finland, featuring three days of thrilling races. This event attracts many of Finland's best skiers along with several international stars, making it a key event in the cross-country skiing calendar.

Race Schedule
The competition schedule includes a sprint in classic style on Friday, followed by distance races on Saturday, and freestyle races on Sunday. Here’s a quick look at the program:
- Friday, November 14: Sprint classic - Broadcast starts at 08:50 CET, qualifying at 09:00 CET, heats and finals at 11:00 CET.
- Saturday, November 15: 10 km classic - Broadcast starts at 08:45 CET, with women's race at 09:00 CET, followed by men's race.
- Sunday, November 16: 10 km freestyle - Broadcast starts at 08:45 CET, with women's race at 09:00 CET, followed by men's race.
Upcoming Events
The race weekend in Muonio is organized by Muonion Kiri, just before the Norwegian and Swedish season openings at Beitostølen and Bruksvallarna from November 21 to 23. The World Cup will also start this year with three races in Ruka from November 28 to 30, leading up to the OL 2026 in Milano/Cortina from February 6 to 22.
