Cadillac F1 Signs Haas Veteran

Peter Crolla has been appointed as the Team Manager for the Cadillac Formula 1 project, marking a significant shift in his career after a lengthy tenure with Haas.
Career Transition
Crolla began his journey with Haas in 2015, initially serving as the Race Team Coordinator. His role was crucial in preparing the team for its debut in the 2016 Formula 1 season. By 2017, he was promoted to Team Manager, a position he held until his recent move to Cadillac.
Cadillac's Ambitious Plans
The Cadillac team is gearing up for its entry into Formula 1 in 2026. Crolla joins a team that includes notable figures such as Team Principal Graeme Lowdon and Technical Director Nick Chester. The team faces the challenge of expanding its workforce and developing a competitive car from scratch.
Experience and Future Goals
Crolla's extensive experience with Haas, particularly in working with Ferrari power units, will be an asset to Cadillac as it navigates the complexities of F1. The team aims to establish a fully operational works entry by 2028, with plans for a bespoke power unit and gearbox already in motion.
Leadership and Innovation
With the appointment of Russ O’Blenes to lead the power unit initiative, Cadillac is focused on setting high standards in performance and innovation. Crolla's role will be pivotal in aligning these efforts as the team prepares for its debut.
