
Lindblad Receives Super Licence Exemption



Early Journey in Motorsport
Arvid Lindblad, a promising talent from Britain and Sweden, embarked on his motorsport journey at the age of three, receiving a motocross bike as a gift. His karting career commenced at five years old at Daytona Sandown Park in Surrey. Under the mentorship of Oliver Rowland, he developed his racing abilities, ultimately winning the WSK Super Master Series title in the OKJ category.
Transition to Formula Racing
In 2022, Lindblad made the leap to formula racing, competing in various Formula 4 championships. He showcased his skills at the Italian, UAE, and Euro Formula 4 events, achieving a significant victory at the Macau Grand Prix. Following this success, he entered the FIA Formula 3 championship as a 16-year-old, where he impressed by securing multiple wins and finishing fourth in his debut season.
Advancement to Higher Categories
Lindblad continued to progress, claiming a title in the Formula Regional Oceania Championship before being promoted to Formula 2 for the 2025 season. His performance included several top finishes and notable victories, such as a sprint race win in Saudi Arabia. This consistent success allowed him to qualify early for a Super Licence, paving the way for potential involvement in Formula 1 prior to turning 18.

Currently, Lindblad serves as a test driver for Red Bull's sister team, Racing Bulls. His testing experience includes driving the 2023 AlphaTauri AT04 and participating in promotional events hosted by Red Bull. This increasing presence in the racing circuit marks him as a rising star in the world of motorsport, with prospects for a robust future in Formula 1.
