A man named Mourad Aid, 41, has been sentenced to two years and four months in prison for stealing a suitcase valued at approximately $308,000. The theft transpired outside St Pancras International Station in London in February, while Brittny Button, wife of former Formula 1 champion Jenson Button, returned from a trip to Paris.

As Mr. Button assisted a chauffeur with their luggage, Aid seized the opportunity to snatch a Goyard suitcase containing valuable items, including wedding jewelry and designer handbags. The incident was recorded on surveillance cameras, showing Aid acting swiftly while the couple was occupied with their bags.
Investigation and Arrest
Four days after the theft, undercover officers apprehended Aid. He later admitted his guilt at Westminster Magistrates' Court. Notably, many of the stolen items, such as the designer handbags and other valuables, have not been recovered.
